Alpha

Alpha is a sober living facility located in the heart of Chiang Mai, Thailand’s vibrant Northern capital.

It is owned and run by Alastair Mordey, one of the pioneers of primary drug and alcohol treatment centres in Thailand, and one of the most recognizable faces in addiction treatment globally. In 2010, Alastair co-founded The Cabin Chiang Mai, which went on to become the largest treatment facility outside of the US and UK.

As well as being one of founders and executive directors, Alastair was also the chief clinician and architect of The Cabins global operations, and is the author of the Cabin treatment system (Recovery Zones) which is now used by many of South East Asia’s drug and alcohol treatment centres. As such, Alpha is unique in that it is headed by a world recognized expert on addiction, who has unrivalled knowledge of addiction treatment in Asia.
